The Story of a Polar Bear's Life: Chapter 5

Inside the University, there were lots of huge polar bears. They were all taller than me. They were all disguised as a penguin like me, and again, they had a few notable differences. The bell rang and the hallways were immediately cleared. In my first class, we learnt about history. The history of Club Penguin:
"For many years, penguins have taken over this island. But thanks to this new university, we can teach you how to be stronger than them. They originated on this island on October 24th 2005. From there, they have grown into a huge community full of millions of penguins. Yet we are no match for them. In this lesson, I would like you to research the parties they had in the year 2006. This year is 2007, and we plan to attack Club Penguin by 2013. Now we are talking about the future. The polar bears are expanding, and our leader has a cunning plan. Anyway, please return your work to me next week. I expect to see a list of each party and why they celebrated." The teacher polar bear finished, and dismissed us.

I was shocked at all the things I didn't know about Club Penguin. They were developing lots of new buildings all the time. New puffles were being found, and more penguins were born. We were going to have to take a step up if we were to beat them. This university was amazing and I was glad Daniel had sent me here.

3 years passed and after studying hard, I knew everything about this island. I could name all the buildings on the island, the puffles, and what the best part was: we were learning about the PSA. Alongside lessons, we had always been watching Herbert P. Bear's latest inventions. They had all failed, but as the teachers kept saying, he would get it right in 2013. This was all practice. There were another 3 more years to go, and soon everyone would graduate. I couldn't wait for my graduation day! Daniel was so proud of me, he even let me go out to the island on my own.

The most amazing thing happened later that month, the PSA HQ blew up. It blew up with popcorn. The day we graduated...

The Story of a Polar Bear's Life # Chapter 4: The Bear University

Life as a polar bear dragged on. Daniel continued working on the gadgets and I began to research the "Penguin Secret Agency."
While I tried to find out more information about the PSA, my information was limited. I couldn't go anywhere without giving away my cover. I couldn't research the penguins without proper training, so I decided to head to the Bear University. First I had to transform into a penguin using the latest gadget Daniel had made. This caused me to turn into a penguin, with a few notable differences. I had bear ears and a tail! To get to the university, I had to travel to a close island. It was only 5 minutes to get there by iceberg and I arrived a few minutes early...

The Story of a Polar Bear's Life - Chapter Three

Underground. The perfect hiding place. Nobody would ever find us here. In the secret lair that Daniel P. Bear had created, there were gadgets, fish, computers, targets, training rooms, and much much more. Daniel wanted to send me to Bear University, but I disagreed. I wanted him to teach me, but he said that he didn't have the time. I wondered what my master was working on. Days passed and I began to wonder how my family were getting on. Were they searching for me? Did they even care about me? I had no clue. Suddenly, Daniel entered with lots and lots of blueprints.
"Perfect! Yes, let's do this one! No, how about this one?" He shoved the blueprints onto my lap and I stared at them in dismay.
"What does this machine do?" I asked.
"The first one freezes penguins. The second captures puffles and the third converts snow into sunshine! Clever, huh? Now which one should we do first?"
"It'd be sensible to start by capturing those pesky puffles, then freezing the penguins so they're out of the way, and then turn all of the snow on this island into sunshine creating a tropical island without penguins or puffles!"
"Great. I'll get back to work. You continue to study about how to be a polar bear!"
"But I know how to be a polar bear, Daniel!"
"I know you do...but you need to learn how to face the penguins and puffles. You need to learn how to avoid them, how to make incredible machines like these. If you study hard, I'll bring you on a little field trip around this snowy island!"
Immediately, I started studying hard. I had never been able to go to the island itself apart from the areas around our secret lair. I was excited!

Later, I went online to check out the island. We had CCTV all over and we knew details about every penguin and every individual puffle. I looked around when I saw something strange. A group of huddled up penguins were making their way to the Sports Shop. I knew every building back to front on this island, but these penguins did not look like the sporty type. Quickly, I looked on the cameras at the Sport Shop. The penguins entered. Without even picking anything up, they waddled over to the changing rooms. Suddenly the curtains opened and about 5 doors were unlocked behind it. For a glimpse of a second, I saw inside a huge HQ. The curtains closed. I rewinded the video footage and paused once the curtain had opened.
"DANIEL! I'VE DISCOVERED SOMETHING AMAZING!" I shouted. Suddenly, Daniel appeared and started at the computer screen.
"What is it?" He asked, confused.
"These penguins. They have a secret agency. Penguins who protect their island from the threat of danger."
"BRILLIANT!" He jumped up and down. "Now all we need to do is make sure that they don't get in our way. I've got the perfect gadget for that..."

A Polar Bear's Life: Chapter 2 - A new beginning

A few months passed and I had become to learn that I disliked being evil. I wanted to have fun like the penguins. But they also irritated to me. I had to hide every time they got close, or they would definitely be after me. Daniel P. Bear taught me lots about being a polar bear. I was only young, and I had alot to learn if we were to takeover this island. First, he taught me how to look scary. If I was going to takeover an island, I'd have to be feirce. Gradually, I became stronger and stronger and had learnt the ways of being a polar bear. We were ready. However, we were soon disturbed by Daniel's uncle. He too hated the cold, and travelled here in hope of a warmer island, yet he did not get what he wanted like us. He had met a crab called Kluzty. We met briefly, and he told us to stay away from him. He wouldn't mention us and we wouldn't mention him. We weren't to speak to each other. It was obvious that Herbert had something planned that he didn't want anybody to know about, not even his own species. Together, me and Daniel walked away to a quieter place - our secret lair...

The Story of a Polar Bear's Life - Part 1

I was born long before penguins took over the island you stand on today. Back then, there were lots of polar bears. Short and tall, fat and thin. I was just one of many polar bears. But I was different. I strangely didn't like the cold. My fur just couldn't cope and it began to sink in - I wasn't one for living on a freezing cold island. And because of this, we moved islands. However, once we reached the other island (on a huge iceberg of course) we met more Polar bears. Together we joined groups, and became a polar bear group. At last, I found a polar bear, like me, who didn't like the cold. He was much older than me and had suffered worse than I had. He desperately needed somewhere warm to stay. One night, he crept out. He and I had become great friends. He wasn't the brightest polar bear, and didn't really know what he was doing. After a while, he had hopped onto an iceberg nearby and was now moving away. Suddenly, he panicked. There was nothing I could do except come with him. I leaped over our island's edge and climbed up onto the iceberg. He was glad to have me with him. Suddenly, we were stopped in our tracks by a huge storm. Quickly, we rowed the iceberg down to a nearby island. But before long, we realised that this wasn't any old island. This was the island of Club Penguin. Then the polar bear told me his name. He hadn't done yet, as he didn't completely trust me. But he did now. He was scared and frightened. His name was Daniel P. Bear. I wanted him to become my father. I had never had a full name, so I became Echo P. Bear, and together we stepped off the iceberg and onto the island of Club Penguin. Even colder than where we were before. This island seemed familiar to me. Yes - this was where I was born. But my parents were far away now. We'd never get back to them again. We were stuck here, with millions of crazy penguins who had parties every day. But we would get our revenge...

The Scare Games ~ So Far...

Me and my friends Bubsey and Pingy have made a story called the Scare Games. Eventually, the scare games will happen in this story. We're all monsters, and this is my side of the story. (We each make up a different part for each day and we have our own view of that day...) This is only my part so far - you can read Bubsey's and Pingy's at http://clubpenguineight.blogspot.co.uk/ where all the parts are posted daily :)

I'm just a normal penguin. But that all changed, the day I was taken away. And now here I am, with Bubsey and Pingywin at Monsters University. I woke up, feeling cold. The room was dark, and I wondered why the sun hadn't rose. Then I realised, that overnight, using my shadow powers, I had cast a shadow over the island of Club Penguin. Nobody else had the power to do that. I quickly manouvered around my messy bedroom and controlled the shadows with my powers. Quickly, I closed my curtains and ran back to my comfortable bed. I hadn't a clue what would happen next. I was planning to sleep all day. But I noticed my closet door creak open. It wouldn't usually do that, as it was always firmly shut. I sat up, wondering if somebody was in there.
"Bubsey?" I shouted at the door. No answer. I decided it must of been the strong powers of the shadows. Nothing happened. A few hours later, I heard a growling noise. Then, out of the closet, came a small monster.
"What're you doing sleeping in the penguin world?" The small monster asked.
"Uh, just taking a nap. Who are you?" I replied.
"I'm Scott Squishy Squibbles!" replied the monster with 5 eyes. "Let's get you back to your studies, buddy. What's your room number?"
"I don't have one!" I replied, confused.
"Don't worry, uh what's your name."
"Echo." I replied swiftly.
"Don't worry, Echo. Dr. Rufus Oozeman will find you a room! Now come with me, through the closet." I had no idea what was happening, but I just followed Scott through the closet. I gawped at the amount of monsters which were here. Quickly, I was ushered to my room and found myself sitting alone in a room which was meant for three monsters. Before long, to my surprise, Bubsey arrived! We spoke a few words to each other, but were interrupted when Pingy arrived in the room. I wondered why we were all here in this monster world...

My flippers were trembling. Ok, I was good at normal maths, but not monster maths and I certainly had no idea about scaring! Why didn't they just make the children laugh instead? The exam had started. I wanted to call Bubsey for help, but Professor Knight had split us up. For the first time, I realised I had ginger fur! I quickly pulled out my ID card Bubsey have me. I looked weird. I answered the first few questions with ease. But as the test continued, I didn't have a clue what the question even was! By the end of the exam, I was shattered and it seemed like Bubsey and Pingy were too.
"I found that really hard." I said to them.
"Actually, it was ok for me. I could do all the maths in it." replied Pingy.
We walked down the hall into the campus. We had collected lots of information about Monsters University and this was it so far....
Lunchtime was next and we were going to meet Aunt Arctic...But since there were 11 dining facilities, how would we find her in this massive university? In fact, how would we get back?

Echo's Island Adventure

While I was away, me and my friends made a story of myself going to a different island, and them helping me out! Here's the story, so far (Yes, it's not finished yet!)
There was one time when Echo was boarding a plane... He was suddenly teleported to an island!!!
If you are reading this, then help me. I'm trapped far far away on an unknown island, nowhere near Club Penguin. Here, it is snowing and I am beginning to get colder and colder. I will inform you of what is happening to me each day by these messages! I hope you can come to rescue me - can you find a map of the islands around CP? Thanks, and wish me luck! There's no food to eat and I think I'll be forced to drink sea water :( I don't yet know if there are other penguins here, but I will soon search this island and give you more details! The connection is bad! Thanks friends :)

We've brought a whole bag of supplies for Echo to use. Yes PJ, we can eat when we get there. Now that the sun is back I have better connection- I just found Tomato on the ground he has mud all over him! Tomato pointed out to me that Coffee helped him. We saw Coffee walking away in the distince, before we went to catch up on him I gave Tomato an apple so he wouldn't starve- but I think I might, help us if you can.. :( Bubsey Good: I told Cherry that Pj had went looking for tomato, so now PJ was lost. We looked up at the sky. The moon was out. I yelled PJ's name, but no reply. Cherry helped too. Cute coffee : Hey cherryy ,i was walking away because i found some monkeys that had water all over there hands and mouths so i told Tomato to stay in the safe-house we built together and i went to follow the monkeys then i looked back to wave to tomato and someone had starting destroying our hut and tomato got covered in mud and i tried to get back to Tomato but he was gone and running to someone is the distance so i tried to run but then a giant wind started blowing me back and i fell into a pond that had a poor little puffle on a lilly-pad so  i quickly said hello greeted it told it what happend and we beame great friends and set off to find Tomato and the person in the distance but we couldnt find them so me and my puffle set up a tree house and slept there for the night. Also from what im hearing that person in the distance was you but i dont think it was you that would have rampaged my hut espesally when Tomato had a sign out front that said ''Cherryy its me your little Tomato'' so i think we have some company of this island (besides counting echo and bubsy and anyone else that came to save echo) So me and my puffle are setting off in the morning to find Cherryy and Tomato And my puffle also has a little crab friend (good thing i know how to speak crab) Cherry:
Hey guys- my connect will start getting bad soon because it's 11:00pm,  that penguin i saw in the distince WAS NOT Coffee! Coffee IS right, we do have company!! I was talking to Bubsey when all of a sudden, in the corner of my eye I saw the penguin running away! He had tomato too!!! :( I started to run but he was just to fast. "Tomato!!!" I screamed with tears in my eyes, Bubsey stared -- "He's got-got- PJ!!" He yelled!

UPDATE: He stole Coffee's puffle too! AND all his food! Let's find this penguin but it could be dangerous... Cute coffee : Cherryy i just found the guy that took tomato and my puffle and i tried to chase him but he jumped off the ledge and into a stream that lead to a cave and that a lit fire in it and he also dropped a cup of my soup by mistake an da note was on it and it said ''Squeaky Squeak Squeak Squeak Squeakers Squeak Sqwoo Sqwee Squeak" Translated to penguin : Coffee theres someone trying to get in my hut and i dont have much time left so eat this whilst its warm please try to find me if you see this note -Your puffle. So i had the soup and my vision went all weird and fuzzy so now i think its a set-up but what i want to know is how he knew my name and i have run out of glass so i cant make myself some glasses so if you have any glass can you please make me some glasees and pass them on to me and if you are wondering how i wrote tihs with fuzzy vision ,my crab knows how to type from watching me do it (hes REALLY fast at learning) So i told him in crab what to write and he wrote it for me - Coffee/crab
Echo: THE SIGNAL IS REALLY BAD HERE! I should be able to contact you one more time in the week before my battery dies! So here it goes...

I was with Pingywin and we heard noises. There was a huge storm and a hero came and in all of it, pingywin disappeared. I was on my own, or so I thought. I was wrong. I heard Bubsey's voice in the distance as well as Cherry's and Coffee's. I hope you're here wth me. Thanks for tracking me down. But we have company. I don't know who tips penguin is but he has lots of water and food and is keeping me fed well. But e is evil. I'm trapped in a cage in a cave with other puffles he has stolen! The weather is really bad and I hope you can track te signal from my spy phone to find me and help me! I need to get back to the CP by Sunday, so if you can keep me updated and try and rescue me by Friday night! We're going to need something like a boat to get us back because there is no fuel for jetpack a and the spy phones have no signal so that means no teleporting. I'm counting on you friends. Find me. Track me down. Together, take down this evil penguin. Take the puffles and me. Don't get hurt. Make a boat and sail back to Club Penguin by Saturday night. Hopefully then, we will be safe.
Let's all assemble and take this villain down! You have your orders. The next time I can contact you is on Thursday! I hope you've earnt your snow gem Cos theres a snow storm starting now-----ERROR 3820472 CONNECTION LOST PLEASE TRY AGAIN ON THURSDAY Bubsey Good: I tracked Echo's Spy Phone and was able to find him. Sadly, Protobot saw me coming and laid a trap. Protobot is behind all of this! Cherry: ECHO! BUBSEY, P.J! :) I found you!! *Frees from cages**

Echo: Cherry walked straight into the trap! But Pingywin has saved us, or so we thought! It turns out Protobot isn't the one who's messing with us! Robots are controlled by penguins, or polar bears! And crabs too! We have a minute to get out of the self destructing cave, but Herbert and Kluzty won't let us get away with it! Quick thinking: Errr, no signal? Errr, no teleport? Err, no other penguins to rescue us? WE'RE DOOMED! But we weren't. A sound came from above and the ceiling of the cave cracked open. Only ten seconds left. How would we all make it out alive?

Hidden In The Snow ~ My Stories

Before I begin, this story is meant to be scary. Sure, it isn't really, but there's freaky things in it, like these strange figures.
Chapter 1
I stood there, staring at the figure. He was hidden away in the thickness of the snow. No movements. It didn't look like he was alive. But I heard his soft breathing. His breath was icy cold. No penguin was like this. For all I knew, he could be a monster. My eyes blurred, and I wondered if he truly was there. He must be. Crunch! I heard flippers bouncing through the snow behind me. It was Sensei.
"What are you doing out here, grasshopper?" shouted Sensei.
"Uh, just looking at your magnificent dojo." I lied.
"It's a grand thing isn't it? I built it myself, back before all of you penguins were even born. The modern generation is so hard to teach Card-Jitsu!"
"Uh yeah. I'm only an orange belt." I replied, yet again lying to him. I hadn't a clue what Card-Jitsu was. Sensei moved along, and greeted some ninjas. I stood there watching him.
Then I looked back, deep into the snow. It wasn't moving. It didn't seem to care about the snow. I slowly waddled away, unaware of the consequences of my actions.
Chapter 2
At night, I heard a rattling noise. It wasn't just the wind. Tommy heard it too.
"What time is it?" he called out from the other room. I glanced at the clock.
"Four o'clock in the morning!" I called back. He grunted, rolled over and fell back asleep. Gradually, I got up out of my bed and waddled over to the window. There were more figures. Exactly like the one I had seen before at the dojo. They were arriving. I knew what they were. I visually imagined the dark secrets that they held. But I didn't know what they were. What they did. Why they were here. Something was wrong!

I woke up early the next morning, and I decided to go surfing to cheer me up. After a frightful night, I hoped I wouldn't see those strange figures ever again, and that they were gone. I walked past Tommy in the morning. He had already woken up - he always woke before me. He had dressed in a casual green cap, with his favourite t-shirt and some sunglasses.

Before long, I reached the forest. He was there. He stood there still. I didn't need a warning. Without thinking, I rushed down the steps to the Cove and left him alone. I didn't dare surf after seeing him. He was there every day. Watching me. It was Sensei. He was hidden in a long thick coat, and nobody was crowding him. He followed me. Down the steps, and past the hut. Quickly, I grabbed my silver surfboard and caught the waves. He would never catch me there.
Eventually, I ended up surfing until I was in surrounded by sea. The island was just a small speck from where I was. I was catching the waves when I noticed something in the water. It wasn't a shark. It was the figures. Just lying there, sinking down below the water. But what was the creature? I leapt up in shock, and missed the surfboard. I scrambled as the waves pulled me down below. I gasped for air, but none came. I was underwater, being dragged by the strange figure. It pulled me tighter until we were at the bottom of the ocean. I tried to scream, but water gushed through my mouth. I kicked rapidly, and the figure let go and I quickly swam back up to the surface. I shouted for help, yet nobody heard.
Chapter 3
Another surfer had seen me, and had quickly come to rescue me. He was part of the rescue squad, and helped me get back to shore. Sensei was there. I had a feeling that he was watching me all of the time. After recovering, I headed back to the Dojo to discover more about these figures. Now I knew what they looked like. They wore silver cloaks, and they were penguins. I didn't see much else, but I was going to find out more. The walk up the mountains were tough, and I got bruised and fell a few times. After all that pain, I managed to arrive at a deserted dojo.
There was nobody there, not even a ninja. That's when I saw it - in the windows. Moving back and forth, throwing snowballs at me. Then it froze. It literally froze. I moved outside and to my surprise, I saw a frozen figure - frozen in ice! Somehow, I caught a glimpse of it's outline - a penguin shape, and--I was attacked. He grabbed me by my beak and pulled me up in the air. He whispered something in my ear,
"We are rising. Don't get in our way!" He put me down, and vanished.
Chapter 4
I couldn't sleep. The endless hours, the endless night. Noises came from all around me. I thought of figures, and watched the endless minutes pass by. It was like the whole world was stuck. The clock moved slowly. One o'clock. Two o'clock. Three o'clock. I heard Tommy's snores. I glanced at the window, and I saw more figures - more and more, heading towards the mountains. I must of finally got some sleep, because I woke up late the next morning, from the sound of the blender. Tommy was back from his walk with the puffles, and was making himself a drink. I yawned and walked into the kitchen.
"What you been up to then?" he asked me.
"Lookin' at the Dojo and stuff." I replied.
"Well, I just got today's issue of the penguin times and I see your name written all over it!"
"What's the story?"
"A penguin, asked not to be named, nearly drowned yestarday as he was attacked by a 'strange figure' - looks suspicious to me!"
"Yeah, alright, it was me."
"Thought so!" We sat down and ate breakfast, and I told Tommy about the figures. How they froze, threw snowballs and were hidden away.
"Nonsense!" he said, "You've just been having bad dreams, and you're not a very good surfer either!" I left the table after that, and ran away, ashamed of myself. That's when it happened - the dark secrets of the figures began to unfold in front of my ocean-blue eyes. They suddenly became clearer, and started to appear everywhere. They were training for something. I knew it. Who else would get up in the middle of the night and head for the mountains? But here they were again, outside my igloo. Tommy came outside, shouting for me. He said he was sorry. Then he gazed at the mythical creatures surrounding us. They were snowmen.
Thousands of them had been rising. Up and out of the snow, hidden away in their cloaks. There were tons of penguins crowding now, and the snowmen ran faster, up to the mountains. Now everyone had seen them. They knew I wasn't insane. Reporters were already taking photographs. Everything was fitting into place. They had stopped messing about with me. They would leave me alone. But they didn't.
Chapter 5
Everybody followed. That was their first mistake. I followed too, and without thinking, we were all climbing up the mountains to see these extraordinary snowmen. Sensei was there, staring at me. Tommy was close by. The winds were blowing rapidly now, and it looked like it was going to snow. The snowmen reached their destination, and we watched. We sat and watched, like hawks. Nothing happened. Then a voice came from a speaker nearby:
"I bet you're wondering why I've gathered you all here today," said the voice, "Well, you are about to witniss the Club Penguin takeover. Snowmen are gathering up, and materalising in the snow. Every night, they head up the mountains, and then..." We stood there, waiting for the speech to continue. But it didn't. And then a storm started to form, quickly. Penguins of all sorts of colours were shocked...

The Secrets of The Wilderness ~ Hot Sauce Mayhem

As the clock got closer and closer to midday, we all felt nervous. Aunt Arctic, Rookie, PH, Jet Pack Guy and Dot had joined us. We were about to broadcast the end of Club Penguin. Penguins would flee as soon as they heard the message. Nobody would like us. Club Penguin really would get burnt and explode into a sunny paradise. The clock struck twelve and Herbert told us to start. We did. Aunt Arctic would read it all out, and we would stand behind her, looking worried.
"Hello Penguins," she started, "We interrupt your programmes to tell you about something very big. Grab your puffles and friends, because the island is doomed." Those were the lines Herbert had told her to say. But then, she said something different and Herbert began to get angry.
"Herbert is here with us now. He's planning the end of Club Penguin. He's a nasty polar bear, and he is going to pour hot sauce over all of Club Penguin! We have to stop him, and we need your help! Quickly, come to the mountains and find us. Help us escape from him. Only he has the power to destroy Club Penguin. COME QUICKLY! Club Penguin won't be doomed forever!" Herbert ran, took the control button and left the mountain. His last words echoed in my mind...
"HA! Perfect! You didn't really think that I'd let you broadcast anything you wanted to the whole of Club Penguin? That was a trick! Nobody will come here at all, and nobody will know.
...We sat there. Herbert's plan was perfect. He had done everything to make it perfect. I couldn't believe it. But we hadn't noticed the flood button: Herbert had placed a water pump in his base, because his mountains were right underneath the Card-Jitsu Water Dojo. There were too buttons, flood and drain. But we couldn't reach them. Kluzty needed Pizza. I had a plan. I could reach the pizza boxes, and I threw pizza onto the flood button. The waterfall poured water out, and it wasn't pumped away. Herbert would drown. We all knew how to swim, and quickly we found the exits. Herbert had escaped too. Somehow though, I knew that Herbert still had another trick up his sleeve. That is, if he had any sleeves. The hot sauce was returned, and nobody was hurt. In the end, we decided to have a pizza party! Perapin and I were shocked that Herbert could manage to disguise himself as Eric! We all gathered, and ate pizza at the Cove. The mountains were full of water. We had escaped. Everything was back to normal. But there was something missing. What were the secrets of the wilderness? Suddenly, a rainbow puffle jumped up into my arms. It was them. Truly, they had fallen from a cloud.
The End...

The Secrets of The Wilderness ~ The Plan Unfolds

The voice was just inside my head. If I was being honest, I was totally scared. I was trying to think of something to say to Herbert, but I couldn't. I had lost it completely. Cliky Minty comforted me.
"It'll be ok. We'll escape, somehow. Don't worry!" She said, calmly. We stepped into Herbert's cave and to our surprise, there was a large bottle of hot sauce and Herbert's older failed machine - that's why I found the plans flying about! There was still a hole where we had escaped, but Herbert didn't seem to notice that.
"The whole point," he started, "of my plan, was to let you escape!"
"Oh yeah right. I bet this is all Plan B," Polo Field replied.
"Believe whatever," Herbert started again, "this isn't my actual cave. You'll notice that this cave is inside a mountain. And if I press this button, you'll see what I mean!" He pressed the button, and we knew what to expect. He had made a giant cave out of all of Club Penguin's mountains. The tallest mountain, twin mountains - all of them. Kluzty was here too. He had stacked tons of pizzas up in a pile.
"Anyway," he said, "Before I tie you up, I suppose I better tell you my plan. As I was saying before, I had stolen the EPF technology, and whatever. The next part of the plan is the deadly part. It was very cunning and mischeivious but I got away with it. I need you all. That's why you're here. Otherwise, you'd be running away for your life right now. But no, you are the biggest part to play in my plan. Without you, it won't work. I decided that after failing Operation Blackout, I might as well give up. But I still had one plan left to destroy your island. Heating it up won't work. Getting rid of the sun won't work. Sinking the island won't work. Making earthquakes, all sorts - failed. So I decided to go extreme. I stole all the Hot Sauce on Club Penguin, while you were up in the clouds. It was actually easier than I thought, ever since you redecorated the Pizza Parlor, you put it in one giant bottle! With this hot sauce, I will pour it all over Club Penguin from this mountain, which has the perfect view of everything, therefore causing the whole island to BURN! So, at midday, you all will broadcast on live Club Penguin TV that you are going to do this. Nobody will trust you, and of course, they'll all run for their lives. The hot sauce will cover everything and then your precious island will be destroyed. Even these mountains. I'm getting rid of it all. Then, when you've all quickly escaped to another island, I'll make this into a beach. I've got a truck load of sand, ready to set out. Then, I'll use my old plan and bring all the sunlight onto me, in my new paradise. It's perfect. No penguins. No snow. Warm and sunny. Nothing can stop me now!" I was about to cry. The whole island would be destroyed, all the penguins would leave by boats, and we'd be the blame!

The Secrets of The Wilderness ~ Meeting Herbert

Herbert, a large polar bear, was standing in my igloo. The EPF's worst enemy had managed to steal the EPF files, trick Aunt Arctic and now he had us. We were the agents he needed. He had been after us, and for a good reason. On the bright side, I finally had Herbert's stamp! He stood there scowling.
"What are you penguins looking at?" came Eric's voice from Herbert's mouth.
"HERBERT! How did you get here?" Polo shouted. Herbert looked down at his feet.
"Ok then, Elite Penguin Fools. Let's get this straight. Just because I'm in a few lasers, doesn't mean I can't escape, again." Herbert's voice echoed. Eric's voice had completely disappeared now.
"We've got you trapped Herbert. We don't want to hurt you though!" Perapin said calmly.
"But what if I don't want to be here with you? It's time I got my revenge, and not like before - this time, I will win. For once, I've planned everything out. I've even created my own teleportation device!" Consequently, a small gadget was pulled out from Herbert's cleverly disguised pockets. He clicked a few buttons, and before we could stop him - we were all gone - back to the Wilderness. I saw a peice of blueprints floating around. I knew exactly where they were from - Operation Blackout. But why did Herbert leave them out here in the Wilderness? It was most likely just some rubbish he had finished with and couldn't find a trash can.

...There was a breeze in the air. Trees swayed from side to side. Yellow puffles laughed as they rolled in puddles. They were all part of Herbert's plan - rainbow puffles. But what could Herbert want with us? We were all suddenly trapped, and without realising, we had no ways of communication and were alone.
"You might be wondering why I need you here. I was going to tell you back then, but you teleported out before I could reveal my true identity. I guess you'll just have to wait a little bit longer! It makes it more fun for me, anyway." Herbert said softly, like he was ready for anything.
"You won't get away with this. Just because it's early in the morning, doesn't mean that Aunt Arctic won't be ready for work. She'll be here, won't she?" said Bubsey quietly, unsure of himself.
"I'm afraid not, little penguins. She's trapped in my lair, with nowhere to go. As well as all your other elite penguin fools. In fact, this time - I've got you all. This plan is perfect!" Herbert shouted again at us.
"Not if I can do anything about it!" came a voice from behind. A familiar voice too...

The Secrets of The Wilderness ~ In My Igloo

"What did you do that for?" shouted Polo Field. We were back in my igloo, after teleporting away from Eric who was explaining his evil plan.
"It was our only chance of escaping. If we'd stayed there, we would be trapped forever in the lasers!" I replied.
"Yeah - I can't believe he forgot about the EPF technology!" Perapin said.
"Sure, but what are we meant to do now?" Bubsey Good asked.
"Well, Eric could trace us somehow, so he might be able to find us, right?" Cliky Minty asked excitedly.
"Yes. In the mean time, we need to make a plan! If Eric comes here, we need to be able to trap us. He never actually said why he did all that, did he?" I announced.
"He must need the EPF technology for something!" Bubsey shouted. Quickly, I waddled over to my computer and found an email. It was from Eric. He was tracking us down as we read the email. Quickly, I deleted it as soon as possible.
"He's onto us. Don't worry, we have a few minutes before he'll find us. Here's the plan. I've got a bunch of lasers in storage. When Eric gets here, we'll trap him!" I said.
"Wait, he could just teleport out, like we did!" Polo Field added.
"Don't worry about that!" Perapin said, "I'll figure out something." So we all started building the lasers together, surrounding the area in my igloo. Eric would never be able to escape this trap. After a few minutes of preparation, Eric finally came. I knew he would. He wouldn't just leave us here - he could track us easily, and he needed us, for something.
"HA! I've got you peng-" The lasers powered up. Perapin had Eric's stolen spy phone. We had caught the bad guy!
"No, you haven't! It appears that we've got you. Anyway, Eric - tell us more about your plan. Why did you do it? Why did you steal the EPF technology?"
"GAH! You stupid penguins! I'm not even a penguin! I can't believe you got me."
"What do you mean?" said Cliky Minty getting worried. Suddenly, I noticed something. On the back of Eric's hair, there was a small zip meant to blend in with the hair. Eric pulled it down and something we didn;t want to see, appeared right in front of us - Herbert!

The Secrets of The Wilderness ~ Teleporting Back

After discussing many options, we finally came to the conclusion that we should wait in Polo Field's igloo. There was nothing much else we could do in the snowstorm. Atleast it was warm inside. Finally, after trying hard, we all got some sleep. I was woken up at 3:00 AM when I received a message on my Spy Phone.
"Who is it?" Bubsey Good exclaimed.
"It's Aunt Arctic! She says she wants to meet us at the Everyday Phoning Facility!" I replied.
"Wait, that's not possible!" Cliky Minty said. "EPF tech is still offline, right?"
"Um, no! It's working - we can all teleport there now!" I said. And that's what we did. One of the silliest mistakes we could of done. If we had of thought things through, we would've known that Aunt Arctic wouldn't be awake at this time. We would've known that Eric still had all the EPF technology in his flippers. We arrived in the Everyday Phoning Facility which was under construction. Nobody was there.
"Eh, atleast Aunt Arctic finally decided to fix the EPF! She said she'd do that last month!" Polo Field said.

We should've realised then, that we had to get out of there. If Aunt Arctic wasn't there, where was she? But we didn't even think once about that. Suddenly, lasers sparked all around us - we were trapped!
"So you fell for my little trick, did you?" Eric asked, magically teleporting into the room.
"What? Hey, why are you here?" Perapin said.
"Because I own the EPF now! Ever since you gave me all your technology." Eric replied.
"We didn't give you it, YOU STOLE IT!" shouted Bubsey Good.
"Well, I'll let you into a little secret." divulged the big penguin.
"And what would that be?" I said, remembering our teleporters were still online.
"I first started with a plan. A wonderful plan. I told Aunt Arctic to send her agents out into the wilderness as a test, to see your EPF skills. I said to her that everything would be under control, as long as she didn't tell you about me. I guess she didn't. Anyway, as that happened - I painted some yellow puffles in different rainbow stripes, to distract you. Then, I began to hack into the EPF's systems. Nobody noticed, except for Aunt Arctic, who couldn't call you as you were up in the clouds!"
"That's very clever." Perapin said, nudging me.
"Thank you, my dear little penguins. I shall continue now. Anyway, you all reported back to Aunt Arctic, who sent you on a real mission - not a test mission. She told you to go into the wilderness and find me, of course. But she made a mistake - EPF technology was down! And so I captured you, and then you escaped. Which was all part of the plan, by the way."
"You tricked us!" Cliky Minty added.
"Of course, young girl. The snow storm was completely unexpected, which helped me alot. Because of it, I was able to get you here, and now here we are, I guess. But there's more..."
Without thinking, I pressed the teleport button on my Spy Phone, hidden behind my back, and my team and I were sent straight to my igloo.

The Secrets of The Wilderness ~ Finding A Way Out

It was dark outside. Now was our chance. I leapt forward and screamed as loud as possible. Quickly, I grabbed a hammer from my bag (which, stupidly, hadn't been taken away from me) and started banging on the pipes in the room. Consequently, a strange gas was let out and the room was filled with smoke. I knew what I was doing. All the cameras now wouldn't be able to see what we were doing. A few hours earlier, Perapin and Polo Field had begun to build a hole in front of the door, with a jackhammer. It was very noisy, but nobody came in while we were doing it. Cliky Minty had already found the way out. It was actually very easy, escaping - all we had to do was find an exit - other than the locked door. What Eric hadn't considered, was that the rocks in this cave were already falling, and after some jackhammering and banging with the hammer, eventually we hit snow and after minutes of digging through it, we managed to climb out into the fresh air. Only it wasn't fresh. It was damp and cold - colder than ever before...
...Somehow, after a few hours of sitting in a cave, Club Penguin had been hit by a snow storm. It was crazy, but true. We had crawled out of the cave, into the wilderness. There were icicles dangling from trees, and snow was piling high. A tiny bit of sunlight crept out through the darkness. The sun was setting, and before long, it would be pitch black. We were able to escape from Eric, but would we be able to escape from the snow? Out in the wilderness, it was very hard to find your way around - especially in deep snow.
"Where do you suppose we go next?" Cliky Minty asked.
"Well, considering the options," Perapin started, "I would just go back inside the cave. It's a lot warmer in there. But that'd be giving in to Eric. We can't do that!"
"Agreed," said Polo Field, "We need a strategy."
"I guess we could just wonder around." added Bubsey Good.
"No, no no. That won't get us anywhere. We need to think practical. EPF tech is still down. That means that our mission isn't complete. We need to find Eric - HE HAS ALL THE EPF DATA!" I replied.
"Yes, I think we forgot about that. Shall we go after him? He can't of gone far, could he?" said Bubsey.
"He might have a spy phone too - and that means he could've teleported anywhere." I added.
"Don't worry guys. I have an igloo over there." said Polo Field.
"Why didn't you say so?" Perapin replied. We all quickly waddled into Polo's igloo, and sat down by the fire, figuring out which path to take next...

The Secrets of The Wilderness ~ The Dark Dark Cave

After what seemed like hours of walking through the endless wilderness, we ended up following Eric into a large cave. Inside, it was pitch black until eventually, Eric switched on a light. He wasn't aware of our presence. The team shuffled inside, waiting for Eric to do something. We hid behind some huge equipment. Eric sat there, in silence. He did nothing. All of a sudden, the power went off and we were left in the pitch black. Suddenly, without warning, the lights came back on and Eric had disappeared. Then they were switched off again, and no longer were they working. Perapin whispered something, but I couldn't hear him over the thoughts whirring inside my mind.
Without warning, a big TV moniter switched itself on and a recording started.
"So you thought you could follow me and find out where I was going?" a voice said on the screen. "Well, you couldn't and now you're trapped in one of my caves! Don't even think about trying to escape, and even if you do, it's guarded all around and cameras are constantly watching you." The monitor switched off and we all sat alone, waiting for help. But it didn't come. How could this be? Bubsey Good exclaimed,
"Don't worry, buddies! I can get us out of here."
"It's no use." Polo Field replied. It was true. We had no chance of getting out. Somehow, we had found Eric in the middle of nowhere, and then we had followed him into a cave. It just didn't make sense!
"You know what I think?" I said, quickly.
"What?" gasped Perapin.
"I've got a plan!" I replied.

The Secrets of The Wilderness ~ Meeting The Enemy

Standing behind us, was a large broad penguin. He had wavy hair, a blue hoodie and green checkered shoes. He was wearing simple casual clothes, as well as a star necklace. Surely he wasn't our enemy who had been hacking into the EPF.
"Who are you?" said Polo Field, standing up tall.
"I'm Eric Panther Feather." said the penguin, showing us a computer screen.
"Hey, isn't that all the EPF's codes?" asked Cliky Minty.
"Why yes! But I don't really want to, actually. I've been paid to do this. You could call me a computer tech wizard! Out here in the wilderness, I expected nobody to find me, but I guess you must be EPF agents.""Well, actually, we're not!" I said, figuring out the initials of his name.
"Good! Because it's time for me to go now!" he said.
"No, Eric. Stop, " I replied, "Who are you working for?" I imagined the figure in my head.
"Nobody! That was just nothing. You didn't see anything, did you?" he said, waving his arms. Quickly, he pulled out a memory stick and I knew that all of the EPF's data was on it.
"Who are you working for?" asked Bubsey Good, getting impatient.
"We don't want to hurt you!" added Perapin.
"Look little penguins. If you would just leave me alone, and I'll tell you when I'm ready!" he told us. Without thinking, I gathered the group up and we walked back through the jungle. Polo Field laughed.
"What a fool!" he said, "He's never going to pull it off!"
"I think he already has." Cliky Minty exclaimed.
"Yes. I've worked out the initials of his name - EPF." I said.
"Then what was he doing getting all those files? He said he was working for someone, right?" Bubsey asked.
"I don't know. Let's follow him." Consequently, we were led down deeper and darker into the wilderness, further than we had ever been before. What could be down here? There were lots of secrets that we didn't know, but it would soon all become clear...

The Secrets Of The Wilderness ~ Finding The Others

We hadn't walked far before we came to a huge jungle full of wildlife that I didn't even no existed in Club Penguin! There were puffles, giraffes, and all sorts. I kept thinking I was seeing rainbow puffles, but I instantly forgot about them and continued looking for Perapin, Bubsey and Minty. They had to be somewhere nearby. We had been searching for ages, yet it was impossible to see where anybody or anything was.
"Polo?" I shouted.
"MARCO!" I heard a reply come from the bamboo.
"Oh there you are!" I said, "Do you think we've got any luck of finding the others?"
"No chance. They must of walked into a trap or something. Remember what our mission was?"
"Yeah, to find out who was hacking into the EPF."
"Well, of course. Maybe the rest of the team have already stumbled upon who that is." I thought about my training, when I became a tech agent and how I defended the systems. Quickly, I gathered all my memories of the EPF villains, and all the elite agents.
I was snapped out of my daydream by a loud cracking noise. I had stepped on a twig!
"Watch out - there's a lot of dangers here." Polo Field told me.
"Do you think we'll find them?" I asked.
"Of course! Look they're over there!" Polo Field replied pointing in the distance.
"It looks like they need help! All this time, my EPF training skills will now come in handy!" I shouted. We quickly ran over to them and found the problem. There were lasers surrounding the area of where the team were heading. It looked like it was heavily guarded, and there was no possible way of getting through.
"Thank goodness you're here!" came Bubsey Good's voice.
"We're really stuck here - can you help us?" asked Perapin.
"Sure!" I said, grabbing my computer from my bag. I quickly opened it up, found some spare wires in the laser machinery and managed to get into the laser software. Now all I had to do was shut it down.
"Wow! You're amazing!" said Cliky Minty, as the lasers disappeared.
"Not so fast, you menacing EPF penguins!" shouted a voice from behind. We slowly turned our heads and were shocked at who we saw. It was...

The Secrets of The Wilderness ~ The Base

Eventually, after hours of walking, we found a camp site, with nobody in it. Polo Field wondered who might of set it up, and where they were. It didn't really make sense that there was a deserted camp in the middle of the wilderness - but we were too cold to complain. We all sat down on the cushions and waited. Bubsey, Perapin and Minty decided to get up and look for any signs of whoever was hacking into the EPF, while Polo Field and I stayed at "The Base" as we called it.
...There were millions of exciting plants, flowers and trees - but we didn't dare touch them. We stayed focused and instead, played a small game of tennis. Polo Field won, of course, but I still enjoyed playing with him. He was wearing his bling bling necklace, while I was wearing casual clothes with a brown bag, containing water and food. Time moved on very slowly then. Perapin, Bubsey and Minty had been gone a long time, and we started to get worried. Eventually, after a few more hours, we decided to abandon the base and search for them.
"Do you think this is a good idea?" asked Polo Field.
"Yeah, they could be hurt or in danger. We told them to meet us an hour ago!" I replied.
"Maybe they just got lost."
"Then we'll need to find them! With no communications, it's going to be hard - but they're our friends!"
"If you say so," added Polo Field, "after all, you are the team leader." He winked and we waddled away down through the plants and the jungles, in search of the other team members.

The Secrets of The Wilderness ~ Making A Plan

Previously, our team of penguins had discovered Rainbow Puffles and then lost them for some strange reason. Now, the EPF is under threat and the team must head back to the wilderness and find out what is wrong, hopefully making no more mistakes!
I knew it. Something just wasn't right. It didn't make sense.
"Those rainbow puffles - you remember them, right?" I asked Polo Field.
"Yeah, sure. What about them?" he replied, walking through the wilderness.
"Well guys, I've been thinking. You know when we found that secret puffle that was really a camera disguised, following us?" I said slowly.
"Yup! I didn't quite get that." said Perapin.
"Just because the rainbow puffles were on the screen when we looked at it, doesn't mean that it was them who were programming the gadget. I think we were meant to follow the wrong track, while whoever it really was planned their attack on the EPF."
"That's very clever!" shouted Cliky Minty. Lots of penguins had left our team recently, due to not wanting to continue with the mission, for some strange reason. The only penguins who were left were me, Polo Field, Perapin, Cliky Minty and Bubsey Good. Suddenly, in the forests, I saw something out of the corner of my eye.
"Hey, LOOK!" I exclaimed.
"It's the rainbow puffles. Yes, it's really them! Let's follow them." shouted Bubsey over the roar of excitement and giggles in our group.
"No, we can't be tricked again." said Perapin, kindly. "Remember what you said, Echo? Sure, we could go on a search and find them all again, but that was our mistake last time. We can't do it again. This is the plan - stick to the path, and avoid any strange things around you."
"That's a great idea, Perapin!" replied Polo Field.
"Yes, sorry." I calmly said. "Let's move on, come on. Aunt Arctic is counting on us."
We followed through the wilderness, not stopping at any signs of the puffles we had once lost. Hopefully, other penguins would be searching for them now and they wouldn't be lost forever.
