Updates on Club Penguin ~ Last Week

While I was away, there were a few minor updates! Full credit goes to clubpenguinmemories.com (Trainman1405) for posting these on his memories site! You should really check out his site ;)

First thing is first. The Puffle adoption area has been ever so slightly updated. For the most part it is the same, just a few subtle changes. Can you notice anything different? Hint: rainbow.

Second of all, the price of Puffles has dropped! (unless the Pet Shop is having an overstock sale so they’re 50% off lol) All Puffles minus the Rainbow Puffle now cost 400 coins rather than 800 coins.

There are two new Portuguese books unlockable. They are “A Grande Expedição dos Puffles” and “A missão Secreta do Agente Rookie”. (A Great Expedition for Puffles and Agent Rookie’s Secret Mission)

Another portuguese related update is the 11th Magazine Issue has been available as of last Wednesday! Here is the cover. It unlocks the Sumo Costume items and comes with a code to unlock one item from the treasure book.

Here’s the information about this issue: (a rough translation)

In this edition of Club Penguin’s Magazine, learn about Sensei, Captain Rockhopper, and help Rookie starr in a movie in the role of a skilled secret agent. Plus, get two of the Card-Jitsu posters and read the comic The Path of the Dragon, where Sensei taught a ninja an important lesson!

Or, if you speak Portuguese, here it is:

Nesta edição de Club Penguin, conheça a escola de dublês do Sensei, dirija uma aventura pirata com o Capitão Rockhopper e ajude o Rookie a estrelar um filme no papel de um hábil agente secreto. E mais: ganhe dois pôsteres do Desafio Ninja e leia a HQ O Caminho do Dragão, onde os ninjas do Sensei aprendem uma importante lição!

Finally, as of Saturday it was Pay Day. You get 250 coins as a tour guide and 350 coins as a secret agent.

Card-Jitsu Snow Beta Test Update

Hey penguins,
It's been a busy week here at Club Penguin, and we wanted to give you an update on the big Card-Jitsu Snow Beta Test!

We've received thousands of comments since the beta test launched last week. Thanks for sending in your comments and the bugs you've seen - keep it up!
Did you know that we track every bug we find? Bug tracking and bug squashing is a very important part of making a game! See the picture below? The red line is the number of bugs we wrote up for tracking, and the green line is the number of bugs we've squashed! Pretty cool, huh?

Here are a few of the bigger bugs that you've let us know about:
#1094 - Users seeing only background art in game if Snow player exits before loading screen
#1090 - Users are able to enter Bonus Round even if player is KO'd during game
#1042 - Music will occasionally double up in game - multiple tracks will play at once
#993 - Game occasionally "freezes" while playing - users must exit game
Great work, testers! Thanks for helping to make Club Penguin even better.
In other news... Many of you seem to be using older versions of web browsers like Internet Explorer. Make sure you have the latest version of your favorite web browser and the Adobe Flash Player installed on your computer to test Card-Jitsu Snow. And remember to ask for permission from your parent before you install anything!
Waddle On... and happy testing!

Double dose of novelty to the coffee!

This is a Portuguese Club Penguin blog post translated to English, so that means bad grammar:

Hi the ice!

You heard the news? Smoothie Smash, the new game of the island, is out this week at the Café! But that's not all...

On Thursday, August 30, the coffee will have a new look with a deco remade from the ground to the ceiling! Look, I have a small overview for you:

Decorators have the air of the bon boulot, not? In my view, there will be a huge coffee party this Thursday! In any case, me I won't miss it. ;-)

In the meantime the great day, I wanted to ask you: what is your best memory at the Café?

Go to comments to tell your story!

To soon on the blog... or on the island! ;-)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Wow...all I can say WOW!!!! I REALLY like that is has LOTS of items that can make the Coffee Shop job experience even more fun LOL What I even MORE like that this room is SUITED for penguins as the old Coffee Shop was TOO big and maybe fit for GIANT penguins xD Good job Club Penguin team, and also don't forget the new Coffee Shop will come with the NEW Smoothie Smash game!

The Pink Stadium

Wow! I thought grass was meant to be green, but I guess it can be pink too :) I just waddled over to the Ice Rink, and was astonished to see that it has transformed! Time for a game of football, remember to check out the catalog with sport items!

Make sure to score a goal before the superheros arrive. Look, there's one! Are you a superhero? The probot is destroying the city. We'll need lots of superheroes to stop him...

Meteor Incoming!

Everyone! Prepare, for a marvelous meteor will strike on Club Penguin soon! Long ago the meteor was spotted by many wizards, now it is incoming to Club Penguin!

As said by Gary it is expected to hit the Dock on June 7! So get ready...

Non-Members can get the 1st Knights Quest Items!

Since the Medieval Party the Club Penguin Team made a bug on the 1st Knights Quest, I was ok with that since I PAID to unlock it on the Treasure Book, but recently yesterday the Club Penguin Team fixed that, now EVERYONE will be able to get that and act like it nothing happened! Now you can get the Black Knight Costume parts in Quest 1! One on the target hitting room...

On that puzzling maze...

And on that watery room at the end!

I hope you all get this items QUICK! The party ends tomorrow! What do you think of this? Leave your comments!

Martial Artworks Icon on Map!

So today Club Penguin made a minor update on their map, if you are quite an expert on Club Penguin you should know that in the Ninja Hideout there is the Martial Artworks Catalog, Club Penguin put that icon up too!

Hmmm, really fishy, I wonder with this update, this will possibly lead to Card-Jitsu Snow? Hmmm...

Club Penguin have updated the Youtube Background :) Why not check it out?

Club Penguin New Translation System
