The Scare Games

The Monsters University Takeover has started and there's tons of things to do! In this post, I'll show you everything you need to know about the Scare Games. First of all, when you login you'll be asked to pick a fraternity or a sority. Choose which team you want to join and you'll get a free hat! Once you've done this, you're ready to scare. On the map, click on go there!

 Head over to the Scare Challenge, and see what the challenge is!

 The screen will show you how many points each team has! Earn scare points for your fraternity - we'll get trophies for taking part! Currently, OK are winning and ROR are half the points of OK! PNK aren't close behind ROR, but JOX needs some catching up to do! Click on your team, and play this all-new limited time mini-game!

You are a monster, wearing a different outfit depending on your team. Press the spacebar to jump and use the arrow keys to move!

 Once you've jumped over the obstacles, you'll reach the bed. Stand on the platform next to it and press the spacebar when the red dots are in the green section to get maximum points. Yellow section is ok, but red section is terrible!

 Be careful. If you hit three objects in one level, you'll have to start again and the level will be simplified!

 You can fly by pressing the spacebar twice, and then holding it down and using the arrow keys to fly across!

 Be careful! Some levels trick you, so watch out!

 If you aren't quick enough, the penguin robot will wake up and you'll have to start again and loose a life! You only have three lives, so make sure to make the most of them!

 If you're caught, it's back to the start!

 There are obstacles such as the jack in the box which is easy to avoid by jumping over it, the balloons which move so you can jump over them or go underneath them and the trains which you must jump over, but they move from left to right so be careful!

Once you quit or loose all your lifes you'll get a certain amount of Scare points!

Star Wars Party This Summer!

Thanks to DavidP81 and Perapin and Chase F for this awesome information :) Club Penguin is going to be hosting a Star Wars party this summer! As I am on holiday around the summer, I may not be able to post everything about this party, but I hope I'll get to see the party atleast for a day or two! Here's the information...

In case you haven't heard the news, there's an update available for our My Penguin app, which lets you play Card-Jitsu Snow on an iPad! The update also includes extra levels for some of the other mini-games!
Not only that, but the app is now available in other languages too! Which I'm sure you'll agree is an epic achievement for the team. So, to celebrate this huge launch, we're going to have a huge party today (June 6th)! Join me (and some special guests from the French and German teams) at the following time/server:

The Ultimate Dojo

The Card-Jitsu Party has started! The island has been split into three parts: fire, water and snow. But first, let's get your free items! Hey look - Snowy needs feeding, but it's time to master the element of Snow before I can feed Snowy :)

At the Dojo Courtyard, things have changed. There's now bridges. There's no hideout. There's a few more trees. The puffles look sad and upset. The Dojo is just as normal. Sensei will greet you saying a few things. I don't like his new gown. You can click on the cards in the corner to see your cards, your progress, and what items you've collected.

Inside the Dojo, there are three doors leading to other dojos! Sensei looks weird in his gown. No longer can you see any of his greyness :(

Walk into the Snow Dojo, and you'll be greeted with this familiar room. It's from the beta test, just coloured in! Unlike water and fire, there is no Sensei to challenge.

The game has some pretty bad reviews. For a start, it's only available in small screen. It's terribly slow. It won't even let you play now because it won't connect! So it's a bad start for Club Penguin, but hopefully I'll master the element of snow soon enough...

The Final Scene

That's a wrap! The final scene has been filmed and the set designers are taking apart the sets as we speak! The Gold from the Stage and the leftover awards are being made into some things for "The Quest of the Golden Puffle" which arrives soon! Grab your award now, before it's over! CP Studios are taking apart the buildings and are putting the original clock tower back in place at the snow forts.

 Night is over and the sun will rise very soon. The movies will be screened at the cinemas very soon, and will later come out on DVD. For now, film makers are putting away their Hollywood movie igloos and are bringing together the perfect design for a new puffle igloo! Directors are still flashing their cameras as the Hollywood Party comes to an end, and Cadence, along with Sensei, Aunt Arctic and Gary are heading back to their igloos for a nice cup of coffee. Jokers are practising their jokes for Red Nose Day, and penguins all around are getting rid of their costumes and leaving CP Studios. The limo is being scrapped.

...Finally, penguins are taking a last look at the stars in the ground, and the stars in the sky. For now, the Hollywood Party is over and done with, but the night sky will come again. Last year, Cadence held a Fashion Show, but that was only a small event compared to Rockhopper's Quest. This year, she went big and made the whole island go Hollywood. What will she do next year? Time will tell...

Woddylan's Backstage Party

Yestarday, I stayed up late, to come to Woddylan's Backstage Party. I arrived 45 minutes early, and was the first one waiting at the Cove. When the party finally kicked off at 1:00 PST, we started by telling stories around the campfire! The pictures have been taken by Woddylan!

...Then, we all gathered on the rock in the Cove.

...Woddylan thanked us for coming, and we all warmed up by the campfire again.

...Everybody danced and smiled! So far, lots of penguins had turned up!

..Then we moved to the Awards Show and watched everybody get an award!

...Interview time at the Plaza, by the red carpet! This is the best party ever...

GO WODDYLAN! Mario turned up too! Check out all the penguins in their stylish outfits with their bling bling necklaces! Woddylan and Ocean got theirs, too!

...Next we moved into the Pizza Parlor. I had a glitch, in which one penguin in the whole room is up in the top left hand corner by the newspaper and stays there. My friend, Penguiin23, noticed that too when we were in my igloo! Therefore, I had to pull the chat bar down to see what he was saying...

...Next, we moved up to the Ski Hill and the first round of sled racing began. I didn't make it onto the first round of races, and neither did Woddylan but...

..On the second round, I was with Woddylan racing down Ridge Run! It was really hard to race with 4 penguins, especially when me and Woddylan were both brown.

...Here we are again at the Pizza Parlor! I still couldn't see Woddylan, and Mountain was asking for everybody to pay up. We eventually all waddled over to him and gave him the money icon.

...Then we went over to Woddylan's igloo! We all liked it, too!

...We also did the conga line over at the mountain. Then we made a choo-choo-train!

...Last, but not least, after we had visited Woddylan's igloo everybody came over to my igloo and liked it too! Then, sadly, the party had to end!
