I am a Snow Ninja

You may be wondering why I haven't posted much lately. The reason is as follows...
I have been playing on the iPad a lot recently! Why? Because Card-Jitsu Snow is MUCH faster on the iPad then on the computer :) I have exciting news to tell you! I am now a snow ninja and have defeated Tusk...

...It was actually easier than I thought. Tusk was so easy to defeat, but I didn't know why. Maybe it was just luck that I defeated him first time. I've also progressed alot on my CJS stamps! I've got all the extreme ones but I'm missing a few hard ones :) In fact, I'm playing Card-Jitsu Snow as I type now! Usually, I only become a fire ninja or a water ninja, MONTHS after the game is released. But I know I'm only halfway on my journey. I've got loads more items to collect, and I will keep playing until the end :) Thanks Club Penguin for making this available on iPad! It is much easier for me, as well as the fact that I now have the blogger app on the iPad too :)

The Penguin Style

As I type up this post, I'm in a Card-Jitsu battle on the iPad! I just lost - but I'm very good at multi-tasking ;)
The latest Penguin Style is out now, and there are some awesome fashions in there! Let's check out the cover...

 ..Here are two new backgrounds (most likely related to monsters) and two old ones - the apple and the "this is me" favourites are back! You can still get last months - but they're only available for a limited time!

 This is REAL style! Check it out! I love how Club Penguin have used a penguin model, but used photographs to portray the image ;)

 Here are fashions for the free spirit! Girls - you're going to love this combo (Just got a combo in the CJS game!)

 Here are a few old items - with no models. Personally, I think this page could've had maybe two more outfits, but here are some old yet stylish fashions!

 And of course, if you've been waiting and waiting for the Pizza Chef stamp - look, it's back!

CJS is coming to iPad

I've missed alot of blog posts while I was away - if you want to check them out, remember to head over to the Official Club Penguin Blog ;)

It's been a massive month for Club Penguin. We released My Penguin on the iPad which over the weekend reached over 1 million downloads!! Thanks for making this such a success!! We also launched the long-awaited Card-Jitsu Snow and its been awesome to see so many of you having fun with it!! The game has been played over 40 million times already and we can see lots of Snow Ninjas walking around the island.
The Card-Jitsu Snow surprises aren't done yet... this Thursday, June 6th, we will have an all-new update to My Penguin that will include the entire Card-Jitsu Snow game. You can use My Penguin to join other Penguins in the game online! Pretty cool, huh?

But that's not all – we will also release the remaining levels of Pufflescape and Puffle Rescue!
So much awesome stuff is happening in Club Penguin right now…and much more to come in this SUMMER OF AWESOME!!!

Sensei and Tusk ~ The Story

A great friend of mine, Perapin, has allowed me to share these pictures with you! Also, check out Perapin's friendly Club Penguin blog - it's really cool ;) Here's the story of Sensei and Tusk. Currently, Sensei is training ninjas to defeat Tusk in battle, but why?

Tusk is no longer Sensei's friend, and this is why...

When Sensei was young (and not grey), he was playing on the swings (I doubt they had them in his day) when a friendly seal came to say hello! His name was Tusk...

They played on the swings together, and became close friends...

Sensei dreamt of building a Dojo to train ninjas....

And so he did :)

Sensei was very talented, as was Tusk, who grew bigger and stronger.

Together, they mastered elements...

Although sometimes, Tusk could not control the elements...

Sensei and Tusk agreed to have a match to see who was better.

Tusk threw a snowball at Sensei and so...

Sensei fought back with a powerful force!

Tusk got angry...

And threw a HUGE snowball at Sensei...

But the snowball did not defeat Sensei...

After Tusk had thrown the snowball, an avalanche began.

Sensei survived, but Tusk was gone...

Sensei looked around, to find Tusk suffering under the snow...

Tusk began to master the element of snow!

And so Tusk grew stronger, and formulated a plan to destroy Sensei and the Dojo...

And that was just the beginning. No wonder Sensei was scared when the avalanche hit! It's sad to see how Sensei and Tusk's friendship slowly began to disappear. But we will defeat Tusk, and hopefully get him to turn good again! Once again, thanks to Perapin for the images! See you next week ;)

Card-Jitsu Snow

Card-Jitsu Snow is a great game! I'm not able to take photos, as I am always concentrated on the game! But, so far, I am doing well on my journey. Card-Jitsu Snow is different to the other games. For a start, you can't ask your friend to play a game of it, because you're connected to penguins from other servers! This is very clever, as before with CJF and CJW, you had to log onto a high server to get friends to play with you!

Because we've already beta tested the game, you know how to play! It's actually really simple, and you only have to play about two games before you unlock the next item/video! Of course, it's not in full screen, but hopefully it will come to iPad, so we can battle easier. But will we be able to earn stamps on the iPad? Overall, it's a great game! There may be a few bugs and glitches, but that doesn't matter :) Apparently, there's a villain you'll have to beat in the end. And once you've got the snow gem, you're only HALF WAY there (according to the stamps)! Good luck on your snow journey! The Card-Jitsu Party, overall is pretty much the same, and there's a party catalog with LOTS of free items (but only the snow ones are new!) I'll be going on holiday this evening - so good luck with your snow journey! I will have lots of catching up to do when I get back ;)

The Ultimate Dojo

The Card-Jitsu Party has started! The island has been split into three parts: fire, water and snow. But first, let's get your free items! Hey look - Snowy needs feeding, but it's time to master the element of Snow before I can feed Snowy :)

At the Dojo Courtyard, things have changed. There's now bridges. There's no hideout. There's a few more trees. The puffles look sad and upset. The Dojo is just as normal. Sensei will greet you saying a few things. I don't like his new gown. You can click on the cards in the corner to see your cards, your progress, and what items you've collected.

Inside the Dojo, there are three doors leading to other dojos! Sensei looks weird in his gown. No longer can you see any of his greyness :(

Walk into the Snow Dojo, and you'll be greeted with this familiar room. It's from the beta test, just coloured in! Unlike water and fire, there is no Sensei to challenge.

The game has some pretty bad reviews. For a start, it's only available in small screen. It's terribly slow. It won't even let you play now because it won't connect! So it's a bad start for Club Penguin, but hopefully I'll master the element of snow soon enough...

Polo and Daffo's Quest Concludes

In the last episode, Polo and Daffo arrive at the Dojo, walk through a door and cross a bridge. THE END.

This episode is kind of a disappointment! It's not even a proper ending, but Club Penguin are just playing with us. And yet I ask the same question again, what is the black gem in the middle of the amulet?

Black Card Glitch!

While playing Card-Jitsu Fire (to help penguins who are non-members), I noticed the same black card come into play. The first time, I used the black card - however, I couldn't tell what number it was. Then I got another one, this time with a different element, but the same card! I was baffled, and it wouldn't let me use the card! Over time, I had 5 black cards which I couldn't use.

But I'm glad to say, I won the battle once I'd binned a black card, I got a red one with fire on it. But it took alot of my cards away. This black card glitch is annoying - have you seen a black card yet? Especially the fact you can't even tell what number it is!

Polo and Daffo's Ninja Quest

Polo and Daffo are going on a ninja quest! I think that new parts of the episode will be arriving each day :D Stay tuned for the next episode...

Card-Jitsu Snow Logout Screen

Everybody is excited about Card-Jitsu Snow, more than the My Penguin app! No, that's not true. My Penguin is the 5th best free app in the UK currently at this moment! But, the logout screen would like to tell you something...

But the logout screen said, MEMBERS can power up with more cards, what about non-members?

Avalanche Hits Dojo

After the blizzards last week, the dojo has been hit by an avalanche! Just like when the Dojo was first dug out, there are masses of snow around the courtyard and the hideout. Sensei has been interviewed, and more answers will be in our weekly news update soon. For now, the dojo courtyard is full of snow, and citizens have been advised not to stand on the snow!

 ...If you enter the ninja hideout, more snow has fallen, and if any more comes, the snow will fill up the hideout! Be careful, the snow dojo may arrive soon...

At the Dojo, Sensei has begun construction, but for what? Will the Snow element be here? What's happening? The card-jitsu mats have been moved slightly. 

 Ninjas, report back on May 23rd - make sure you are a fire ninja and a water ninja though ;)

Snow Is Coming...

The moment we have all been waiting for - Card-Jitsu Snow is coming! As usual, the Dojo and Hideout will be decorated, and the Snow Dojo will be added to the hideout. But of course, it wouldn't be a proper ninja party without some kind of storm. Last year we had rain, and the year before that we had fire! Currently, water ninjas and fire ninjas can dance together to make the sky change - will this be the same with snow?

How does Sensei know what the weather will be like? He's a very strange penguin, and I wish that we could know more about his true identity! I love his new Snow outfit, though and I can't wait to meet him at the party!

Card-Jitsu Snow Beta Test Finale

Thanks to everyone for your help testing Card-Jitsu Snow! We found a bunch of bugs together, and they've all been added to the database for tracking. Nice work, testers!

The test will be ending very soon. Which means you'll only have a bit more time to collect your exclusive rare Snow Beta Hat! Remember, this is the ONLY time this item will be available. Tell your friends to get it while they still can!!

Once the beta test is finished, the team is going to work on some fixes and improvements. We should have the game finished in the next few months. Wish us luck!

Card-Jitsu Snow Beta Hat

So when Card-Jitsu Snow Beta was released many penguins on Twitter were saying Club Penguin should have released a special rare item like they did way back at the "Club Penguin Improvement Project" on 2008. Now today Club Penguin decided to add a special item you are able to get when you get to the Bonus Round at the end of the game: -Image belongs to Trainman1405-

You might be wondering why I didn't take a picture from my penguin..truth is the game was hard for me since most of the players left me *alone*

Okay, now it's time for this week's Reviewed By You. By now many of you have figured out that Card-Jitsu Snow is totally different from the other Card-Jitsu games. No more fire-beats-snow, snow-beats-water, water-beats-fire. In this game, all the elements work together to defeat snow villains and restore the balance.
You've also probably noticed that this game is a bit more complicated - everyone on the board has different move and attack ranges, different ninjas have different Power Card attacks, and combos give ninjas extra boosts. So this week we want to know: What's your Card-Jitsu Snow strategy?

Card-Jitsu Snow Beta Test Update

Hey penguins,
It's been a busy week here at Club Penguin, and we wanted to give you an update on the big Card-Jitsu Snow Beta Test!

We've received thousands of comments since the beta test launched last week. Thanks for sending in your comments and the bugs you've seen - keep it up!
Did you know that we track every bug we find? Bug tracking and bug squashing is a very important part of making a game! See the picture below? The red line is the number of bugs we wrote up for tracking, and the green line is the number of bugs we've squashed! Pretty cool, huh?

Here are a few of the bigger bugs that you've let us know about:
#1094 - Users seeing only background art in game if Snow player exits before loading screen
#1090 - Users are able to enter Bonus Round even if player is KO'd during game
#1042 - Music will occasionally double up in game - multiple tracks will play at once
#993 - Game occasionally "freezes" while playing - users must exit game
Great work, testers! Thanks for helping to make Club Penguin even better.
In other news... Many of you seem to be using older versions of web browsers like Internet Explorer. Make sure you have the latest version of your favorite web browser and the Adobe Flash Player installed on your computer to test Card-Jitsu Snow. And remember to ask for permission from your parent before you install anything!
