Hey Penguins!
Last week we showed you the official trailer for the Disney/Pixar Monsters University Takeover! At Club Penguin's first ever Scare Games, you'll get to join a scare team - just like the ones in the Monsters University movie. Pick the one that suits your scare style and compete to win a scary awesome prize!
Here's the low-down on the four rival teams:

Roar Omega Roar: Are your scare abilities top notch? Are you the best of the best? Then ROR is where you want to be.
Jaws Theta Chi: JOX are natural born frighters, who love the scare of the game!
Python Nu Kappa: Do you hide your inner monster behind a scarismatic smile? PNK's got the flair to scare!
Oozma Kappa: Don't underestimate these determined underdogs - they've got plenty of heart to take it to the top!
I'm opting for OK 'cos I've got that go-getter attitude! Which frightening fraternity or scary sorority will you choose, and why? In the upcoming weeks, we'll announce which teams the other bloggers will be joining to fright alongside you! So stay tuned.

I really enjoyed Pingafass123's answer:
My 1# favourite subject is of course ART! I love art because you can just keep drawing and sketching and there's no right or wrong! Your an artist in many ways and art is fun! Every thing is art and it's just so fun creating master pieces and beautiful drawings! My art teacher always says " never give up everythings art''! That is why art is my favourtive subject!.

There's so many ways to earn stamps around the island, with new ones always coming along.  How many stamps have you earned so far, and which one was the hardest one to get?

Puffle Rescue: Sea Levels

Finally, after a few months of working out a strategic way to make my way around the Puffle Rescue sea levels, I have achieved the extreme survive 30 levels with 5 lives. In fact, I reached the level 41 before the squids electrified me! I had a total of 81585 points.

 Another technique of mine was to play the game in low quality. To do this, simply press the - or + buttons on your keyboard. This makes the game faster and less lag. Also, make sure you zoom out as far as possible so when you press the up and down keys, the screen won't keep moving up and down.

 ...I've earned 15 stamps of the 27 in Puffle Rescue. Now I just need to complete the ice levels and the cave levels!

Puffle Rescue is a wonderful way to earn coins! I earnt 23200 in one game that took about 20 minutes. It's a great way to earn coins for Coins For Change :)

Goodbye Rockhopper ~ Welcome home Rookie

Rockhopper hasn't been here since Febuary! Thats unlike him ~ I wonder what he found while he was away. Anyway, this year (as stated in the newspaper) Rookie is going to be hosting the Fair. Rookie was here in January, April and now Septemember! Rockhopper has been here twice so far and will return as usual for Christmas. That's three times we have been able to meet them both this year! But...

...However if they both have been seen on the island 3 times this year, why is Rockhopper's stamp easier to get thank Rookie's? Is it because Rookie doesn't show himself as often at the party than Rockhopper? I'm not too sure, but I think Rookie's stamp should be blue as it isn't extremely hard to meet him. The Penguin Band only visit once a year and Sensei may do twice. Aunt Arctic has been spotted quite a few times reporting the news at the Super Hero Party and I'm sure she will in October...

What do you think about these characters? I'm sure Rookie will mess everything up like last time. Hence the name, "Rookie"

Smoothie Smash Stamps!

Along with the game Smoothie Smash Club Penguin has ALSO released BRAND NEW GAME STAMPS!! Now Smoothie Smash will be even MORE fun!! And more challenging:D

Club Penguin Epic Volunteer Stamp BUG!

Club Penguin will add a new stamp when the Holiday Party begins yet this stamp has already been added yet cannot be seen! BUG! This stamp will be called Epic Volunteer and you will need to donate 10,000 coins for change!

Thanks Saraapril for telling me about this. I think the stamp will be an extreme stamp but it is placed with the easy stamps. BUG?

Are you confused or puzzled? Here is a guide on stamps to help you!

Where's my Stamp Book?

Before you start earning stamps, you'll need to find your Stamp Book. Click the stamps icon on your player card to find it.

Collecting stamps is a great way to show your buddies what you've done in Club Penguin.

Every time you earn a stamp, it goes into your Stamp Book. This helps you keep track of all the stamps you've collected.

Your Stamp Book will look empty at first, but it will fill up fast as you earn more!

How do I earn stamps?

You can earn stamps in all kinds of different ways - in games, working together with your buddies, or trying different tasks.

There are four different challenge levels: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Extreme. Even the most experienced penguins will test their skills!

Each time you get a stamp, a message will pop up telling you what you've earned.

When you finish a mini-game, you'll find out how many stamps you've earned - and how many you still need to get.

How do I show off my stampbook?

Earning stamps is only half the fun – the other half is showing them off to your buddies!

If you're a member, you can customize the Stamp Book's cover to fit your style. Select the pencil at the bottom-right hand corner of the cover.

You can cover the front of your Stamp Book with your favorite stamps and pins. And you can even change your Stamp Book's pattern and color.

To see a buddy's collection, check out their player card. Click on the stamps icon to see their Stamp Book and what stamps they've earned.

Halloween Stamps: These ones only be available at the Halloween Party, so see if you can collect them all before they're gone! Here's the stamps you can get, and how to earn them:

• Trick or Treat - See 10 trick or treat igloos at the party
• Music Maestro - Solve a musical puzzle at the party
• Explorer - Visit all the decorated party rooms
• Scavenger Hunt - Solve a scavenger hunt
• Monster Mash - Wear a monster costume at the party
• Happy Room - Make 10 penguins smile in a party room
• Path Finder - Complete a maze at a party
• Snack Shack - Serve snacks from a booth, using any food emote
• Gary - Be in the same room as Gary

Igloo Contest: You can send in your spooky Halloween igloos until October 25. Click on the "Submit" button in your igloo once you've finished decorating your igloo. The judges have already found some amazing igloos out there! Make sure you don't change your igloo design until the winners have been announced. Check out this awesome igloo from Yann51300:

Haunted Mansion: All penguins can visit the Haunted Mansion at the party! The ghost costume is available inside the Haunted Mansion, so don't forget to pick that up.  

Night of the Living Sled Live: Make sure you check out the newest play at the Stage, where you can find a few extra Halloween costumes, like the new Sled costume!

Lots of things to do! But now its time for the anniversary party!

New Party Stamp BUG

A new party stamp has arrived! Check it out in your stampbook! Its called Trick-Or-Treat! BUT There is a bug its background is green meaning that is an easy stamp! It should be yellow as it is with the others and when you earn it it shows yellow! BUG!

I have yet to earn this stamp as it is really hard! Most of the igloos aren't actually Trick-Or-Treat igloos!

I just got the stamp and take a look:

See what I mean? Anyway, thanks to all penguins on Zipline who helped me get this stamp! :)

The Fair and Puffle Hats Update

Hello Penguins!

It's a busy time here at the Club Penguin offices. The team is working day and night to get ready for a HUGE month of new stuff for you. It's very exciting! I wanted to give you a quick heads up about what's coming next week:

Puffle Hats coming early: The team is working hard over the weekend to release hats for puffles as early as this Tuesday! Not only that, but this month's clothing catalog is coming early, too!!

The Fair ending on Monday: To make way for some of the big stuff that's coming, this year's Fair will be ending tomorrow. So you'll have a bit more time to earn these Stamps:

• Rockhopper: Be in the same room as Rockhopper
• Happy Room: Make 10 penguins smile in a room
• Snack Shack: Serve snacks from a booth, using any food emote
• Target Champion: Hit 50 targets in a task at a party

Igloo party video: Happy77 and the team are going to look for some great igloo parties on Monday to feature in a new video! Make sure your igloo is open so the team can check out your party!
